Welcome to the Homeschool Physical Education Information Page
The value of a quality Physical Education program is how it can enhance every aspect of a student's life. Of course, there are the obvious fitness benefits of being physically active, but there is also the development of body awareness, sports knowledge, teamwork, social skills and and just plain fun which are all rolled into each lesson.
Our classes meet in Cool Springs in the Sports Performance Center at 119 Seaboard Lane. The Physical Education curriculum is for elementary, middle school and secondary homeschool students with each 60 minute classes geared toward each grade level.
Elementary Classes focus on a progression of general motor skills activities, body awareness, coordination using games appropriate for grades one through five.
Middle School Classes focus on cooperative games, skill aquistion, and introduction to team sports.
High School Classes focus on team, individual and lifetime sports, and fitness activities.
Parent Classes focus on general fitness through cardiovascular and strength training sessions at the same time as the other classes.
